SWETTENHAM DISPERSAL HEADLINES EASTER BROODMARE SALE

With entries for the William Inglis & Son Easter Broodmare Sale closing this Friday February 22, Inglis have confirmed the sale will feature the complete unreserved dispersal of the Swettenham Stud broodmare band.

The unreserved dispersal will take place on the opening day of the sale, Sunday May 4, ensuring a strong momentum to continue throughout for the two day select session of broodmares, prior to the general session commencing on May 6.

“With such a high standard of entries the 2008 Easter Broodmare Sale looks sure to be a bumper one,” said Inglis Director of Bloodstock Jonathan D’Arcy. “The addition of the Swettenham draft adds to the global appeal and cosmopolitan flavour of a sale that already features a group of high quality mares from the USA and UK covered Southern Hemisphere time by some of the worlds best stallions.”

Amongst the highlights of the 54 unreserved Swettenham draft will be mares such as:

Sirecam will showcase the mares on the Inglis website in the lead up to the sale which will also aid international buyers who choose to use the new Inglis internet bidding service.
