Think Big Stud were closely watching the Listed Hobart Guineas in Tasmania on Sunday with the result of keen interest to Lot 367, a Danewin filly they will offer at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale on Monday afternoon.
A stylish bay, this filly pictured is a half-sister to smart Tasmanian trained filly Rose of Scotland, who ran a bold race when finishing strongly to be beaten just half a length when fourth to Ludka in the Black Type event over 2100 metres.
Fifth at her previous run in the Listed Tasmanian Guineas when again beaten less than a length, Rose of Scotland looms as a potential stakes-winner of the future for a family renowned for its fillies.
This Danewin filly is the fourth foal of Encosta de Lago mare Ares de Lago, who is closely related to dual Group I winner Mnemosyne, tracing back to the celebrated Better Draw family.
