lll-fated Beneteau posted his tenth Australian winner of the season on Thursday when 2014 Inglis The Star Ready 2 Race graduate Tatoosh resumed from a spell to win at Wyong, so if you backed Beneteau to be leading first season sire by winners you'd be starting think about a collect.
Trained by Paul Perry, the two year-old gelding was having his second start and took the 1200 metre maiden by a long neck.
Passed in at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale, Tatoosh is the second winner for winning Spinning World (USA) mare Miss Columbus, who comes from the family of eight-time Group I winner Intergaze.
With 10 individual Australian winners Beneteau leads the first season sires by winners with a margin of four, so with just over a month to go until the end of the season if you've had a bet on him at the $8 that was offered in initial markets last year you'd be entitled to be getting ready to collect.
