THE CHAIRMAN'S SALE: DON'T DOUBT MAMMA

One of the star mares to be offered this year in Australia is the 7-time winning (5 Stakes races) Don't Doubt Mamma.

A stunning physical, she won over $640,000 for Tony McEvoy and connections, including the Group 2 VRC Let's Elope Stakes and MVRC WH Stocks Stakes.

Don't Doubt Mamma hails from arguably the best family in the Australian Stud Book, with her third dam being the Blue Hen Joie Denise.

"With these sort of mares on offer I'm hugely excited at the prospect of The Chairman's Sale,'' bloodstock agent James Harron said.

"It takes place during what is a fantastically exciting time to be in Sydney, with world-class racing every weekend, and I am certain that it will become a very important sale in terms of showcasing the Australian product to a global audience.''

Don't Doubt Mamma joins several other profile entries for The Chairman's Sale including Group 1 winner Provocative, a superbly bred young mare in foal to Frankel and a stakes-winning daughter of Fastnet Rock in foal to Golden Slipper winner Vancouver.

Positioned either side of the time-honoured Australian Easter Yearling Sale and The Championships, The Chairman’s Sale will be held over two sessions at Inglis’ Newmarket complex, a week apart, in the middle of what is already a thriving Sydney autumn carnival.

The Chairman’s Sale Session I – Elite Racing Prospects – will be held on Thursday night, March 30, just prior to Day 1 of The Championships.

The Chairman’s Sale Session II – Elite Breeding Prospects – will take place on Friday night, April 7, the night after the conclusion of the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale.
