The Written Bloodstock Dispersal Sale

It was today announced that the significant bloodstock holdings of Written Bloodstock would be dispersed at William Inglis & Son sales over the next six months starting with our Christmas Thoroughbred Sale at Newmarket on the 25th of November and our December Thoroughbred Sale at Oaklands, Melbourne, on the 2nd of December. These Sales will include the dispersal of Written Bloodstocks racing interests such as outstanding sprinter Dance the Waves and Group 1 performing mare Perfect Promise as well as a selection of broodmares with foals at foot and in foal again to Good Journey (USA).

The balance of the mares will be sold at auction at our Summer Thoroughbred Sale at Newmarket on the 25th of February and will feature stakes winners, stakes producers and well bred young mares from international families of sires such as Rainbow Quest and Petionville, as well as daughters of Zabeel, Red Ransom and Volksraad.

Yearlings from Good Journey's first Australian crop will be sold at our Melbourne Premier and Autumn Yearling Sales on the 5th, 6th, 7th of March and the 2nd and 3rd of April respectively.

Good Journey (Nureyev-Chimes Of Freedom, by Private Account) is impeccably credentialed. He won the Group 1 Atto Mile at Canada's Woodbine, and was placed 3rd in the Arlington Group 1 Breeders' Cup Mile behind Domedriver and Rock Of Gibraltar. Out of England & France's Champion 3YO Filly & dual Group 1 winner, Chimes of Freedom. Good Journey descends from the same family that has produced such stallions as El Gran Senor, Spinning World, Umatilla and none other than Redoute's Choice.

Mares such as Our Egyptian Raine, Paraca and Battle Maiden will be sold at the William Inglis & Son Easter Broodmare Sale along with the remaining mares in foal to Good Journey. Weanlings also by Good Journey will be included in the Australian Easter Weanling Sale.
