Theophorus Tops Winter Yearling & Racehorse Sale

The Winter Yearling and Racehorse Sale concluded a big week of selling at Newmarket, with $640,000 traded on the Racehorse, Yearling and Unbroken Stock offerings.

Multiple city winning gelding Theophorus topped todays sale when selling for $75,000.

In the yearling section a top price of $21,000 was given for lot 46, a bay colt by first season sire Ad Valorem (USA).

Yearlings offered during today's session are eligible to nominate for the Inglis Race Series, which includes the $100,000 Inglis Challenge at Scone.
