Top Line Racemares Entered For Inglis Broodmare Sales

Dual Group 1 winner HOT DANISH and fairy-tale filly CHANCE BYE are the latest top line racemares to be entered for Inglis Broodmare Sales in the last week.

Hot Danish’s managing part owner Tony Curtis has confirmed that last year’s BRC Doomben 10,000 and AJC All-Aged Stakes winner will be offered at Inglis’ Australian Weanling & Bloodstock Sale towards the end of June, once fully recovered from a leg injury that unfortunately has put a stop to her racing career. The $2.3million earner that was adored by so many racing fans around Australia will be a star mare for whoever the lucky buyer might be.

“She has been and absolute marvel for us to own and has been a part of our lives for 6 years now, all 10 part owners will be sad to see her no longer racing for us but we will be looking forward to following her progeny when they hit the race track and I’m sure if they have her determination to win will be stars in their own right”, Curtis said.

Star 2yo from last season Chance Bye has be confirmed for the Supplementary Catalogue of the 2011 Inglis Australian Easter Broodmare Sale to be held in Sydney on April 12 - 14. The winner of the Group 2 Silver Slipper raced last Saturday and has pulled up sore in her shoulder which has prompted the owners to retire her and sell her as a Breeding Prospect only at Australasia’s leading broodmare sale.

The supplementary catalogue of fillies and mares at this year’s Australian Easter Broodmare Sale will be offered on Thursday April 14 after lot 490.

Supplementary entries will remain open until Monday April 4 and entry forms can be downloaded HERE.
