Coolmore's long serving sire Spinning World produced hgis 43rd stakeswinner when promising filly Torah put her first Listed win on the board at Moonee Valley on Saturday.
The Peter Moody trained filly had been placed at four of her previous six starts and was ridden perfectly by Luke Nolen to win the 1600m contest by more than a length with her breeder Stuart Ramsey on hand to celebrate her win.
"It was especially good to win today for the partners," said Ramsey, who has enjoyed much success with Moody over the years.
"I'm so happy to have this filly here and win a race on a day like this."
Spinning World is noted for producing top class fillies including the likes of Special Harmony, Heavenly Glow and Lyrical Bid.
Torah was consigned to the 2010 Inglis Scone Yearling Sale by Ramsey's Turangga Farm and was bought by Moody for $30,000.
Ramsey stayed in the filly along with two other partners, John Coates and Angus Douglas.
Torah is the first foal of the imported Devil's Bag mare Perisher Valley, who traces back to US GI winner Miss Toshiba.
She traces back to Australian GI winner Isolda and stakes-winners Bid Spotter, Presumed Innocent, Upstaged and Youhadyourwarning.
Perisher Valley has a two year-old full sister to Torah called Snowy World that was sold for $22,500 at the Inglis Sydney Classic Yearling Sale this year.
She has already foaled this spring producing a filly by Al Maher.
