Two Half Sisters To Makybe Diva Entered for Inglis Weanling and Breeding Stock Sale

Tony Santic's Makybe has entered a draft of outstanding fillies and mares as part of its annual reduction for June's Inglis Australian Weanling and Breeding Stock Sale, for which entries close today.

The Makybe entries include two half relations to the great Makybe Diva, with mares in foal to stallions including Redoute's Choice, Commands, General Nediym, Casino Prince and Makybe's young Tale Of The Cat stallion Purrealist.

Celtic Reign, a Woodman half-sister to the three times Melbourne Cup winner, is being offered in foal to Redoute's Choice. Celtic Reign's Redoute's Choice colt topped this year's Melbourne Premier Sale at $365,000.

Being offered as a maiden mare is the three-year-old filly Optimist, an unraced Red Ransom half-sister to Makybe Diva.

The reduction also includes the well related racing and breeding propositions Enthrall and Climatic, the latter being by Fusaichi Pegasus from Redoute's Choice's G2 placed full-sister Monsoon Wedding. Climatic raced last Saturday in the G3 Auraria Stakes and is also closely related to this season's outstanding G1 winning juvenile Manhattan Rain.

The Makybe Reduction adds further to this sale, which already includes the star-studded Johnson Family Dispersal.
