With supplementary entries closing just over a week away, the inaugural Inglis Australian Racehorse Sale on November 15 continues to receive timely updates, with a number of lots improving their race records over the last few days.
Racehorse entries CONSTANT (Lot 50), CENTURON (Lot 84) and SION PRIORY (Lot 126) all added victories to their race records only two weeks before they are due to go under the hammer in Melbourne.
Originally a $28,000 weanling, Constant scored a gutsy victory at Seymour over 1412m, notching up her second career win from only seven race starts, in the Mitchelton Wines Country Showcase Class 1 Handicap last Thursday. With her great grand dam Unite the winner of the English & Irish Oaks, there is plenty of upside to this lightly raced mare.
On Saturday, the lightly raced 4yo gelding Centuron scored his second career win from only six starts in the Hunter Allied Diving Service Class 2 Handicap over 1400m at Newcastle. This was then followed up on Sunday with the victory of Sion Priory, a 3yo Commands gelding, who won on debut at Mornington over 1200m.
“With our sale just around the corner, it’s brilliant to see so many entries continuing to perform well in the lead up, which again underlines the depth in the catalogue we have been able to put together at such an exciting time in Victoria,” Inglis Managing Director Mark Webster said.
Videos of Breeze-ups, trials and race footage from Select lots are all online at InglisTV, and will be updated within a few days of each tried horse competing on the track leading up to the sale, on Sunday, November 15.
Trainers and owners are reminded that supplementary entries will close at 12 noon on Monday November 9. Entry forms can be downloaded HERE.
Buyers not able to attend the sale can log on to view the sale at Inglis Sale Day Live and use the Online Bidding Service to lodge bids.
The Xray repository will also be available online.
