Inglis is delighted to announce media distribution details and a key partnership with the Seven Network in the lead up to the Melbourne Premier and Australian Easter Yearling Sales.
Inglis’ partnership with Seven’s free-to-air racing coverage commenced on CF Orr Stakes Day, Saturday 8 February 2014 and continues throughout the Summer and Autumn racing carnivals, culminating on Day 2 of The Championships at Royal Randwick which will feature the $4 million Queen Elizabeth Stakes.
“This is a very exciting initiative for Inglis which provides us the opportunity to promote our sales to a new audience in the lead up to our two main yearling sales on feature racedays,” said Inglis Managing Director Mark Webster.
For the Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale, Inglis will move to highlights packages and news items on TVN. Unfortunately due to their existing racing commitments TVN are unable to cover the first day of the sale. Web users will be able to access the existing static camera on the sale ring and the dedicated auctioneer audio, if they wish to view every lot.
Also included in the partnership with Seven is an expansion of last year, with the first two days of the Australian Easter Yearling Sale on 8 and 9 April to be shown on 7Two. This is in addition to TVN’s coverage which will include plenty of sale ring action coupled with interviews of buyers, vendors and other industry personnel.
“In partnering with Seven, we hope to engage with a new audience and promote the benefits of this great industry,” concluded Webster.
