William Inglis move Post Sale selling to a new level

18th Jun 2008

William Inglis & Son have announced a technology improvement to their web site www.inglis.com.au that enhances the post sale service for their clients.

The new technology allows a potential buyer to send a message to the mobile phone of an Inglis sales representative, who will then verify the offer with the buyer, if applicable advise on conformation and vetting, and negotiate the private sale with the vendor on their behalf.

The buyer simply needs to click on the relevant passed in lot on the sales results page and follow the clear prompts.

“Post sale service is very important to us here at William Inglis as we feel it is an integral part of the complete sales service we offer our vendors,” William Inglis Managing Director Mark Webster said.

“If the horse fails to sell in the ring we want to give vendors as much opportunity to sell their horses after the sale as possible and for buyers, make this sales process as easy as possible.

“This latest technology allows buyers that are sitting at home watching the sales on TVN or via the internet the opportunity to go online and make an offer on a horse that is passed in and the offer will be quickly relayed to the mobile phone of an Inglis sales representative who can complete the transaction.

“This is a win-win for buyers and vendors that are dealing in horses after they have gone through the ring.”

The service will be available starting from the inaugural Australian Weanling and Breeding Stock Sale next week.
