Selling Information
A $400,000 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale graduate, Candyland has siblings who have realised NZ$500,000 and NZ$300,000 at Australasian Yearling Sales in recent years.
Candyland is one of 138 mares IF to leading sire Pierro from the 2019 breeding season.
This is an active, Danehill-free, family. Candyland has a Stakes-placed 3YO full sister, Toffee Tongue, who recently ran 2nd in the G3 Adrian Knox Stakes at Randwick, as well as a yearling full brother and her dam is back IF to Tavistock. Her G1-placed full sister Milseain is IF to American Pharoah while her half sister Adorable is IF to Pierro.
Recent top-class Australasian performers from non-winning mares include The Autumn Sun, Trapeze Artist, Alligator Blood, Kiamichi, Super Seth, Scales Of Justice, Alabama Express, Gytrash etc.
āIām not usually in the business of selling these sorts of mares, but it is part of a necessary stock management programme. She is a lovely mare with a good pedigree. Pierro has been very good to me and lots of other breeders and I think he is well-mated to this mare.ā - Bob Peters, Owner
