Meryl debuted in the Listed ATC Gimcrack Stakes before beating 10 rivals, including colts and geldings, in the G3 BJ McLachlan Stakes over 1200m at her second start.

As a 3YO Meryl won the G3 Scarborough Stakes over 1200m at Moonee Valley defeating the likes of Humma Humma, Enbihaar and Setsuna.

Beaten just 1.35 lengths in the G1 Moir Stakes over 1200m at Moonee Valley behind Nature Strip, defeating the likes of Trekking, The Bostonian, Booker, Ball Of Muscle etc.

A $150,000 yearling purchase, Meryl’s siblings have realised $500,000, $460,000 etc. at select yearling sales in Australia.

Recent Australian G1 winners produced from fast, Australian Stakes-winning mares include Exceedance, Nature Strip, Sunlight, Pierata, Microphone, Shadow Hero etc.
