I Am Gypsy finished 2nd over 1000m to subsequent dual G2-winning sprinter Eclair Choice as a 2YO before defeating the same horse over 1000m as a Spring 3YO.

I Am Gypsy was placed in the G3 R N Irwin Stakes over 1100m two years running, beaten a head by three-time Group winner Nostradamus and then by G1-winning sprinter Viddora, with Sooboog, Petits Filous, Tuscan Sling, Runway Star, Karacatis, Dayton Grey – all Stakes winners - in arrears.

I Am Gyspy is out of a half sister to the dam of Kelly Renee, one of the highest-rated 2YOs of the season in New Zealand, who finished 3rd in the G1 Diamond Stakes over 1200m to Cool Aza Beel.

I Am Gypsy’s 5th dam, Green Valley, is one of the all-time great producers with over 50 individual SWs tracing back to her, including the likes of Solemia, Authorized, Makfi, The Gurkha and Quijano amongst others.
