A NZ$420,000 yearling purchase by David Ellis.
As a 2YO she was narrowly beaten over 1100m on debut in January by Stakes-placed Pageantry, with subsequent G2-winning/G1-placed sprinter Miss Leonidas well in arrears, before defeating Group performer Leather’N’Lace at her second start over 1200m.
Her yearling half sister by American Pharoah was purchased for $460,000 by Belmont Bloodstock at the 2020 Inglis Easter Sale while her 2YO sister named Stonehenge is in training with John O’Shea. Justice Glory’s dam delivered another American Pharoah filly in 2019.
Her sister, Tuscan Queen, was a $300,000 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale purchase and recently won the G2 West Australian Derby by nearly 5 lengths.
“Fastnet Rock is beginning to emerge as a serious broodmare sire with 25 Stakes winners to his credit already. Justice Glory was a 2YO metropolitan winner in Melbourne and comes from a very current family. Her sister Tuscan Queen looks one of the most exciting young horses in the country and her yearling half sister realised $460,000 at the recent Easter Yearling Sale. Dundeel is fast becoming one of the most sought-after stallions in the country and we thought this mare was the perfect fit for him on type and pedigree.” - Dean Harvey, Baystone Farm
