A fantastic opening day of the Easter Yearling Sale saw a remarkable 14 lots realise $1m or more as buyers stepped up to defy global economic trends and ensure Easter remains in a league of its own.
A 90-strong catalogue for the 2020 edition of the Chairman’s Sale has been finalised with G1 winners Volpe Veloce (Foxwedge) and Go Indy Go (Bernardini) headlining a flurry of star power added to the sale.
Mares in foal to the likes of top-class proven sires such as Pierro, Zoustar, Dundeel, So You Think, Brazen Beau, More Than Ready, Written Tycoon, Lonhro, Street Boss, Rubick and Deep Field headline a strong Australian Broodmare Sale catalogue.
Inspections for mares entered in The Inglis Chairman’s Sale will be by appointment with their respective consignors, with most set to be available by early next week.
Outstanding race filly Fundamentalist (Not A Single Doubt) – in foal to Zoustar - is among the latest wildcard entries confirmed for The Chairman’s Sale.
Some of Australia’s best race mares – many in foal to the most sought-after stallions available – will be offered at this year’s Inglis Chairman’s Sale, for which the catalogue is now available online.
Similar to this week’s Easter Yearling Sale, the Chairman’s Sale will take the format of a Virtual Auction with online and telephone bidding on Friday May 8.
