An up-and-coming star 2YO colt and everybody’s favourite front-running 8YO mare stole the show on a big day of racing on the Gold Coast today as the Brisbane Winter Carnival kicked into gear.
Two quality mares staked their Spring claims in an action packed 24 hours of racing, with Pride of Jenni winning the G2 Feehan Stakes at Moonee Valley last night and progressive mare Makarena victorious in the G2 Golden Pendant at Rosehill Gardens today.
