Yearlings by the likes of Snitzel, Spirit of Boom, Written Tycoon, Zoustar and More Than Ready highlight a strong Supplementary catalogue for Sunday’s VOBIS Gold Yearling Sale at Oaklands.

Just a week after Darby Racing’s All American filly Yankee Rose made it two from two at Rosehill Gardens, the syndicator’s colours were carried to victory by the All American colt Rampage who was making his career debut in Saturday’s John Paraskevas Plate (1000m) at Moonee Valley.

Day Two of the 2015 Inglis Great Southern Sale saw a continuation of impressive results through to the completion of the Weanling Sessions, and a promising start to the Broodmare Session. A further 42 Platinum weanlings were sold today, taking the average for that session to $24,368 across a total of 192 Lots. 78 General weanlings were sold grossing $539,950, taking the average price for weanlings across both sessions to a record $19,329.
