There has never been a better time to become a racehorse owner in Singapore, where over S$68million in prize money is offered on Singapore Turf Club races each year.

Horse racing can be very lucrative for enthusiastic owners, especially in Singapore. A recent survey completed by the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities, ranked Singapore third in the world behind the UAE & South Korea in respect to prize money returns to owners compared to expenses.

The average horse in Singapore costs approximately S$34,000 per year to maintain, yet the average prize money per horse in training at Kranji is S$49,000.

And Australian bred horses thrive in Singapore, accounting for over 65% of the club's top ranked horses.

Inglis has also invested significantly into the S$1million Golden Horseshoe Series, which rewards owners of Australian-bred and sold yearlings with lucrative bonuses on top of normal prize money on selected races in Singapore.

With increases in prizemoney, generous training rebates and world-class race tracks and facilities, Singapore is arguably one of the most attractive places to get involved in racehorse ownership.
