In conjunction with the Inglis Australian Broodmare and Weanling Sale, Inglis will be conducting a Breeding Seminar to be hosted by Caroline Searcy in the restaurant upstairs at the Newmarket sale complex from 5.00pm this Friday, 1 May.
“Inglis understands that success in the breeding and racing industry is a team effort, and that the more informed our breeders and clients are, the more mutual success we will have,” said Inglis National Bloodstock Director Jonathan D’Arcy
“Inglis has been providing independent advice and assistance for over 100 years, and we are delighted to continue to educate and empower our clients through our Breeding Seminars,” D’Arcy said.
Caroline Searcy will use her extensive bloodstock knowledge and experience to interview a number of speakers and give an in-depth insight on the following topics:
• Broodmare selection with Jonathan D’Arcy
• Stallion selection with Peter Heagney
• Raising weanlings with Sam Fairgray
• Pinhooking weanlings to yearlings with Mark Devcich (Henley Park)
• Inglis’ yearling selection criteria with Simon Vivian and Chris Russell
• Yearling preparation with Peter O’Brien (Segenhoe Stud)
• Weanling and yearling X-Rays with James Price and Dr Jonathan Lumsden (Randwick Equine Centre)
• Auction processes with Jonathan D’Arcy
The evening will conclude with a Q and A session where attendees will be able to ask questions of each speaker about any topic discussed throughout the night.
Inglis will provide light refreshments following the seminar.
For those who are unable to make it to the seminar, it will be available for viewing on InglisTV in the days following the event.
Selling will kick off at 10.30am Sunday 3 May, and continue through 4, 5 & 6 May for the 2015 edition of the Inglis Australian Broodmare and Weanling Sale in Sydney.
