An additional 17 horses have been added as supplementary entries to the Inglis VOBIS Gold Yearling Sale catalogue, equating to 303 yearlings that will go under the hammer this Sunday 17 and Monday 18 April in Melbourne.

All are welcome at the Inglis Oaklands Complex from 9am this Thursday 14 April when lots will be available for inspections.

The sale is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to get involved with the purchase of a yearling and racehorse ownership, with even more value to be had from Super VOBIS and VOBIS Gold incentive schemes.

These benefits have been demonstrated recently by $15,000 purchase If Not Now When having earned trainer Henry Dwyer and connections in excess of $230,000 from two career starts.

Highlights of the supplementary entries include a colt by All American from the family of Nicconi (Lot 288), and a half-sister by Helmet to the Hong Kong Group 1 performer Captain Sweet (Lot 295). Lot 300 is a colt out of a half-sister to Bulla Borghese, from the family of impressive two-year-old Calliope, and by one of Victoria’s leading sires, Bel Esprit.

In excess of 80 stallions are represented in the sale, offering outstanding variety. 27 yearlings in the catalogue are out of stakes-performing dams and 26 lots on offer are siblings to black-type earners.

In addition, a number of pedigrees have received important updates since the catalogue went to print. Yearlings from the families of many autumn stakes-performers are featured, including Lucia Valentina, The Quarterback, Griante, Seaburge, Fenway, Flying Artie, Malaguerra, Telperion, Sacred Eye, Charmed Harmony, Awesome Rock, Jackson and Berisha.
