The select catalogue is littered with siblings to stakes winners, progeny of stakes winning dams, offspring of Australia’s hottest sires and forward running types, all being professionally prepared to excel across Australasia and Asia.

“The Star Ready2Race Sale has quickly established itself as a breeze up sale of the highest quality in the Southern Hemisphere with winner after winner delivering rewards on the racetrack for the many buyers who have supported the sale in its first two years,” said Inglis National Bloodstock Director Jonathan D’Arcy.

Last year’s sale unearthed top-class juvenile Odyssey Moon (Snitzel x Run to the Moon). The $120,000 buy went on the win at stakes-level just 67 days after being purchased at The Star Ready2Race Sale by renowned bloodstock agent James Harron.

Odyssey Moon carried the colours of owners Dr Edmund and Belinda Bateman in all three legs of Australia’s Two-Year-Old Triple Crown – the Golden Slipper (8th placing), Sires Produce Stakes (2nd) and Champagne Stakes (6th). The valuable colt earned over $400,000 in his juvenile year and has big Group 1 aims in his Classic season of 2015/16.

Three colts and one filly by Snitzel are set to be offered at The Star Ready2Race Sale this year, along with the progeny of other leading sires Exceed And Excel, Redoute’s Choice, Not A Single Doubt, Northern Meteor, Choisir, High Chaparral, Stratum, Bel Esprit, Magnus and Written Tycoon.

First season sires Sepoy, Foxwedge, So You Think, Canford Cliffs, Dream Ahead, Helmet, Jimmy Choux, Love Conquers All, Master Of Design, Skilled, Toorak Toff and Zoffany are all represented, as are leading second season sires Hinchinbrook, Star Witness and Rothesay.

Exceptional young sire I Am Invincible is represented with six two-year-olds in the 2015 sale including the half-brother of juvenile stakes-winner Haptic (Lot 84), which lines up against Vancouver and Headwater in the Group 3 ATC San Domenico Stakes.

Haptic’s half-brother is one of eight entries in The Star Ready2Race Sale for Cheveaux Bloodstock, Mittagong. Other vendors with five or more two-year-olds in the sale include Baystone Farm, Glastonbury Farms, Grange Thoroughbreds, Heritage Park, Jackson Bloodstock, MJI Thoroughbreds, Muskoka Farm Nominees, Nolen Racing, Frankie J Stockdale Racing, Think Big Stud, Wingara Thoroughbreds and Woodside Park Stud.

Two Northern Hemisphere-bred colts among Muskoka Farm Nominees’ offerings have been sourced from the Tattersall’s October Yearling Sale in England for preparing and reselling at The Star Ready2Race Sale.

The 150 two-year-olds catalogued for The Star Ready2Race Sale will breeze up at either Canterbury in New South Wales or Cranbourne in Victoria in early September.
