Star 2YOs Breeze Up At Cranbourne

57 Ready2Race two-year-olds completed their timed 200m breeze ups at Cranbourne today, with a colt from the first crop of Sidereus clocking the quickest time of 10.57 seconds.

The decision to postpone the breeze up session from last Tuesday to today was vindicated with the Soft 6 rated grass track allowing the juveniles to showcase their racetrack potential.

"The Star Ready2Race Sale has quickly established a market leading reputation and vendors must be praised again for showcasing an outstanding group of young horses at the breeze ups this year," said Mark Webster, Inglis Managing Director.

"On behalf of Inglis I would like to thank the Australian Turf Club and Cranbourne Turf Club for presenting quality grass tracks, much like the surfaces these young horses will race on like stakes winning 2014 sale graduate Odyssey Moon," added Webster.

11 lots broke 11.00 seconds for their 200m breeze ups today, with the overall average time a very pleasing 11.21 seconds at Cranbourne.

45 seconds of footage of each lot will be made available on inglis.com.au and on the Inglis Sales iPad App by Wednesday afternoon. DVDs and USBs will be available to send out from Friday - requests can be made via email to catalogue@inglis.com.au

10.57s - Sidereus x Madam Lash colt (Lot 28)
10.67s - Makfi x Chinamora filly (Lot 125)
10.78s - Stryker x Obliging colt (Lot 42)
10.84s - Stratum x Knight Vision colt (Lot 17)
10.86s - I Am Invincible x Zebithea colt (Lot 95)
