Supplementaries Take The Great Southern Sale Over 900 Lots

118 supplementary entries have been added to the 2016 Inglis Great Southern Sale, taking the total number of lots to be offered at the four day auction to an extensive 905.

416 weanlings will be offered across the first two days of the sale, Sunday 19 and Monday 20 June, including a Pierro weanling colt from Call Me Pretty in the supplementary entries. The colt is a half-brother stakes winners Born To Rock and Prettyhappyaboutit, and will be offered by Erinvale Thoroughbreds.

Other supplementary weanlings to be sold include the Kuroshio half-brother to Group 3 winner Almighty Girl, plus the progeny of Epaulette, Equiano, Exceedingly Good, Polanski, Starspangledbanner, Testa Rossa and Written Tycoon.

Broodmares will be sold from 10:00am on Day Three of the sale, Tuesday 21 June. 29 supplementary mares take the total broodmares to be offered that day to an immense 285.

Supplementary Broodmares include mares in foal to Choisir, Deep Field, Dissident, Reward For Effort, Star Witness, Stratum, The Factor, Toorak Toff and Wandjina.

Stallions Astronomer Royal and Witherwings will be offered immediately after the supplementary broodmares, followed by two stallion shares in Stratum.

The fourth and final day of the Great Southern Sale is packed with Yearlings, Unbroken Stock, Race Fillies and Mares, plus Race Colts and Geldings. Supplementaries include Awesome Rock’s full sister Elite Rock, stakes winning three-year-old filly Mihalic, Flemington winning mares Herstory and Dynamic Day, Group 2 winner Guest Of Honour, plus a wide range of other race fillies, mares, colts and geldings.

All four days of the sale start at 10:00am, with Online Bidding and Inglis’ Make-An-Offer services available throughout the sale.
