In the last 72 hours Inglis graduates Mamwaazel, The Quarterback and The Conglomerate all recorded their maiden stakes victories providing timely pedigree updates to their respective siblings that will be offered during the 2015 Inglis Select Yearling Sales Series.
Mamwaazel (Exceed And Excel x Amazoon) scored a narrow victory in the Group 3 Gosford Belle of the Turf Stakes over 1600m in New South Wales on Friday, taking her earnings past $330,000.
Trained by Chris Waller, Mamwaazel has been a consistent mare for her syndicate of owners that was put together by Rhys Smith of Kulani Park which paid $27,000 for the daughter of Exceed And Excel from Edinglassie Stud's draft at the 2011 Inglis Select Weanling Sale.
Mamwaazel's yearling brother by Exceed And Excel will be offered as Lot 13 by Yallambee Stud on the opening day of the 2015 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale in Melbourne.
The 2015 Inglis Premier Sale also features the yearling half-brother to The Quarterbackwhich took his earnings to $380,000 with victory in the Listed VRC Kensington Stakes down the Flemington straight on Saturday.
The Quarterback (Street Boss x Soorena) was bred by Gilgai Farm and sold from the Makybe draft to Robbie Griffiths Racing for $120,000 at the 2012 Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale, as pictured.
The Quarterback's yearling half-brother by Husson will be offered by Gilgai Farm as Lot 531 at Inglis Premier, which runs from 1 to 4 March 2015.
The Conglomerate (Lonhro x Republic Lass) became the 48th stakes winner for his champion sire Lonhro when winning the 1800m Group 3 Politician Stakes at Kenilworth in South Africa on Saturday.
Bred by Dean Fleming, The Conglomerate was purchased by Global Bloodstock/ Mayfair Speculators for $160,000 from the draft of Tyreel Stud at the 2013 Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale.
Coolmore Stud will offer the Fastnet Rock yearling half-brother to The Conglomerate at the 2015 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale on 7, 8 & 9 April.
The 2015 Inglis Select Yearling Sales Series kicks off next month in Sydney with the Classic Yearling Sale Summer Book on 8, 9 & 10 February.
