Williams Reduction At The Melbourne Select Racehorse Sale

The 2014 Inglis Melbourne Select Racehorse Sale catalogue featuring 27 superb entries from Lloyd and Nick Williams is now available. The one day sale will be held at Oaklands on Friday 23 May.

“Racehorses sold by Lloyd and Nick with us in 2012 have gone on to win all over Australia from Brisbane back to Melbourne from sprints to multiple cup races. Another first-class collection has been catalogued this year and we welcome all racing enthusiasts here to Melbourne to compete on them later this month,” said Inglis Melbourne Bloodstock Director Peter Heagney.

Graduates of Lloyd and Nick Williams’s draft from the previous Melbourne Select Racehorse Sale two years ago include the multiple metropolitan winners, victors of the Group 3 ATC Summer Cup, Listed Canberra National Sprint, Mudgee Cup and Albury Cup plus placegetter in the Group 2 SAJC Adelaide Cup and Group 3 SAJC Lord Reims Stakes.

The 2014 Inglis Melbourne Select Racehorse Sale has been well supported by Nick and Lloyd Williams along with Barry and Midge Griffiths, Ballymore Stables, Contract Racing, Lindsay Park Racing, OTI Racing and many other owners.

Entries in this month’s sale include Group winners Tanby (pictured) and Hartani, plus stakes placegetters Hot Spin, Markmanship, Ranked, Snitzem, Above, American Dream, Essie’s Pride and Excluded. There are also multiple city winners and many young lightly raced prospects.

The sale will begin at 1.00pm on Friday 23 May. Inglis’ Online Bidding, Make-An-Offer and Sale Day Live services will be available on sale day.
