18 December 2009
Featuring significant support from vendors such as Lindsay Park and Eliza Park, the 2009 Inglis Melbourne December Thoroughbred Sale is shaping up as a bumper renewal.
269 lots including yearlings, race horses, unbroken stock and Broodmares in-foal or with foals at foot by a host of young stallions are all ready for your competition at Oaklands on Friday December 18.
Highlights include Lindsay Park offering Molta Bella (Lot 64), who is a Listed winning close relation to spring star and Melbourne Cup favourite Alcopop, being sold with a De Beers filly foal at foot and in foal to young Lindsay Park stallion Barely A Moment.
Lot 56 is the beautifully related Scenic mare Eliza Park – fittingly being offered by Eliza Park – who is from a family that includes G1 winners and performers like Mythical Play, Kate’s Myth and Falls The Shadow. Eliza Park is the dam of two winners, including Bel Esprit’s dual G3 winner Gabbidon and the 13-year-old mare is carrying a full relation to that former top rated filly.
Other notable entries to date include Impudent (Lot 94), a winning half-sister to G2 winner Stokehouse; Syzygy (Lot 116), a General Nediym half-sister to Black Opal winner Delago Bolt; Mr O’Postrophe (Lot 149), an Encosta De Lago half-brother to Sharkbite; and Outdo (Lot 163), a stakes winning son of Exceed And Excel.
The sale will begin at 11am.
