Zac Spirit confirmed his position as one of the best in South East Asia when winning Kranji's premier sprint for this second time on Sunday, the S$800,000 Singapore Group 1 Lion City Cup (1200m).
The first Singapore Group 1 race of the year saw the coronation of Zac Spirit as the country’s sprint king as the Flying Spur four-year-old stamped his class on the $500,000 Lion City Cup with an all-conquering display on Sunday.
Inglis graduates Zac Spirit and Holy Empire fought out a stirring battle the Singapore Group 3 Three Rings Trophy over 1400m at Kranji on Sunday evening with only a neck separating the progressive pair on the line.
The final stakes race in Singapore for year, Group 3 Proinn Construct Stakes (1700m), was run on Friday evening with top level gallopers lining up against exciting up-and-comers, and it was Cliff Brown’s striking entire Zac Influence who proved he is one to watch into the future.
