Some fantastic winners and races have occurred since the VRC swapped the Danehill Stks over and ran the Ascot Vale on Derby day.

Charge Forward filly Headway became the first individual Group 1 winner for her sire on a day where inaugural Easter Part II Sale graduate Faint Perfume stamped herself as a dominant favourite for next Thursday's G1 VRC Oaks.

A total of 29 supplementary entries, highlighted by a number of extremely well related mares, have been received for the Scone Broodmare Sale, which will be held this Friday, August 28. The supplementary entries have been added online, taking the number of lots catalogued for sale to 171 in total.

Less than a month out from the Southern Hemisphere’s best yearling sale, Easter graduates totally dominated feature racing today, with Group 1 Randwick Guineas winner Metal Bender leading a tally of seven stakes winners for the sale at Randwick and Flemington.
