Inglis graduates made their mark on the final day of the Melbourne Cup Carnival at Flemington, with thrilling quinellas in both the Group 1 VRC Darley Classic and the Group 3 VRC Maribyrnong Plate.

Day Two of the 2015 Inglis Great Southern Sale saw a continuation of impressive results through to the completion of the Weanling Sessions, and a promising start to the Broodmare Session. A further 42 Platinum weanlings were sold today, taking the average for that session to $24,368 across a total of 192 Lots. 78 General weanlings were sold grossing $539,950, taking the average price for weanlings across both sessions to a record $19,329.

In what will be one of the most highly anticipated lots to grace the Inglis sales ring, leading breeder Tony Santic has confirmed that the first foal of three times Melbourne Cup winner Makybe Diva will be among entries for the 2009 Australian Easter Yearling Sale.
