Coolmore Stud and Goodwood Farm have finished at the top of Inglis’ Group 1 Vendors List for the 2011/12 Australian racing season, having sold two individual Group 1 winners each.
The tremendous run of Group 1 victories for graduates of Inglis’ Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale continued at Moonee Valley today, as Pinker Pinker strode away with Australia’s weight-for-age championship, the $3million G1 MVRC Tatts WS Cox Plate.
Headed by quality trio Pinker Pinker, Littorio and Sincero, Inglis graduates marked the start of spring racing in style with Group success at both Flemington and Warwick Farm today.
Mick Kent burst back into the Group 1 winning list with Absolutely in the AJC Oaks, while Bede Murray may have himself another Classic contender in the shape of impressive Fernhill winner Darci Be Good.
Each of the four major yearling sales conducted by Inglis in Melbourne and Sydney provided feature winners today, highlighted by the Group 1 double of Black Caviar and Ilovethiscity.
Graduates of the famous Inglis Newmarket sale ring came to the fore at Rosehill today, with Ilovethiscity and Satin Shoes completing the big Group 2 double.
