Yankee Rose became the first filly to win the Group 1 Spring Champion Stakes and led in an Inglis graduates trifecta in doing so in today’s Randwick feature.

The first of more than 880 horses have arrived at Newmarket ahead of the 2016 Inglis Australian Broodmare and Weanling Sale, for which the first day of inspections will kick off from 9am tomorrow, Wednesday 27 April.

Two-year-old Inglis graduates showed their brilliance today taking out the headline juvenile races in both New South Wales and Victoria, led by Prized Icon at Royal Randwick, and Valliano at Caulfield.
