Trainers and syndicators from across the Eastern Seaboard competed for more than 80 yearlings, with the top price of $42,000 being reached by Lot 65, a son of Australian Derby winner Roman Emperor out of Group 1-placed Miss Meliss. The colt was offered by Princes Farm, the sale’s leading vendor by average and one of 16 vendors to achieve 100% clearance through the ring.
