CONTINUING its charter of promoting racehorse ownership, Aushorse has organised a range of activities bringing potential new buyers to the upcoming Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale.

A high number of private sales and an improved clearance rate highlighted the final day of Session I at the 2009 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale at Oaklands today, which concluded with a decline in line with all other sales conducted in the southern hemisphere this year.

The much admired close relation to Makybe Diva stole the show with a winning $365,000 bid from Emerald Thoroughbreds on Day 2 of the Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale, as the clearance rate improved steadily from the opening session.

The catalogue for the 2009 Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale, to be held from March 1-4 and comprising 780 lots, is now on-line.

To coincide with the release of the highly informative 2009 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale Preview magazine, TVN will host a special Thoroughbreds program tonight at 6.30pm (EDST) showcasing the 2009 Inglis Yearling Sale series, featuring the highly anticipated Sydney Classic, Melbourne Premier and Australian Easter Yearling Sales.
