The 2016 Inglis VOBIS Gold Yearling Sale, to be held at Inglis Oaklands Complex on 17 and 18 April, features 286 yearlings, with most lots eligible for more than $20 million of prize money and bonuses across Victoria’s world-class incentive schemes – Super VOBIS and VOBIS Gold.
Session II of the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale came of age today at Oaklands, where 147 lots sold for a record average of $45,701, a massive increase of 43% on the 2015 sale. Further, an outstanding clearance rate of 88% continued the Melbourne sales’ record momentum.
Session I of the Inglis Melbourne Yearling Sale concluded on a high today with a clearance rate of 87% and record average of $111,000, up 14% on last year’s figure, driving a record aggregate of $51,393,000, an increase of 16%.
