Friday 8th December will see buyers last opportunity in 2006 to lay their hands on quality bloodstock when William Inglis & Son have their final sale of the year, the Christmas Thoroughbred Sale.
Following a very well attended Breeze Up session on Thursday at Oaklands, today’s Breeze Up Sale enjoyed strong bids from both domestic and international buying benches.
The 2006 2 & 3YO Breeze Up Sale will commence this Thursday, 26 October with the actual Breeze Up sessions to take place on the purpose built track at the Oaklands complex.
At the end of last year astute Scone based horseman Rodney Northam made the conscious decision to target this year's yearling sales with the sole purpose of purchasing some quality youngsters to prepare and turn over at the 2006 William Inglis & Son 2 & 3YO Breeze Up sale.
Sea Battle’s half length win at Warwick Farm today added further credence to the success of the William Inglis & Son Breeze Up sale which will be held again this year in Melbourne on MVRC Cox Plate weekend.
Saturday’s success in the Listed Angst Quality (1400m) of the David Payne trained MORE THAN LUCKY (2005 Ready To Run, $72,500) further enhanced the reputation of the Inglis Breeze Up Sale.
A first for the William Inglis & Son sales company will see the staging of the 2006 October Racehorse Sale held this Friday, where over 100 lots will be offered.
The August Thoroughbred Sale at Oaklands Junction, Melbourne, on Friday 25th August looks set to be a sale that will cater for all buyers with a wide selection of horses on offer.
